This last March, David Shrewsbury put together a basic implementation of multi-master replication into DrizzleDB link. We were able to actually merge it with the mainline trunk, but then had to remove it until we had refactored and fixed more things. Today, we were able to put it back in.

Btw, could we agree to call this feature "multi source replication". Multi master replication is what you do with Galera or MySQL Cluster = one cluster with many writeable nodes. Multi source replication is when you have many different databases and one that replicates from all of them.
ReplyDeleteCome to think of it, multi-source replication can be used as multi-master replication. But it's more than that.
